The Brauhaus Frings offers 4 ontap brews as well as seasonal batches brewed by Dennis. These beers are available onsite or they can be taken home in 2lt flagons.

There is also a quality selection of red and white wines as well as non alcohol drinks. Brauhaus Frings is one of New Zealands oldest Micro-breweries and is located in Whangarei.

The Brauhaus has become a haven for beer lovers as it combines well crafted beer with a relaxed, informal atmosphere making it an ideal place to sit and unwind.

Hours

We are open seven days a week except statutory holidays. Our normal hours are 10 am to 10 pm (9pm on Sunday). Wednesday night is Jam Night a Whangarei institution and every second Sunday we have Trivia and live music from 4 pm.

Note: all times are just rough indicators - our license goes to 3 am and so from Wednesday - Saturday we close when the last patron is gone. We are a dedicated early bar so if unsure please give us a ring at (09) 438-4664 (not between 4:30 and 6pm please as we're very busy then).

How to find us

We are located in the North of the North Island in Whangarei. This little town is approx. 2 hours north of Auckland. The Brauhaus is located near the Town Basin that overlooks the Yacht Marina.

This harbour is being used by yachties berthing from all over the world and it is right in the heart of town. From the Town-Basin Car Park you can see a green building with lots of sails in front. Well, you made it - this is where we are.
