Our Beers

1. The most popular is the PREMIUM LAGER. It is made in the classic bohemian way of the Lager tradition and has elegant hop flavours. The colour is light golden (but of course darker than normal Lager in NZ, as it is made out of 100 % Malt, like all of our beers). It is very important for us that this beer is very more-ish, which means that you as a customer are will enjoy the last sip as much as you did the first.
   
   
2. The second Beer is DRAUGHT. It has more body than the Lager and is also darker. Here you can taste the whole dimension of the malt we are using. For this type we use four different types of malt and the fermentation is very different from all the other beers ( of course no details, otherwise we would have to shoot you).
   
   
3. The third standard beer is the Old Ale. It is a dedicated dark beer with lots of flavours that you would not expect in a dark beer. Dark beers normally have a burnt flavour from the dark malt, which almost tastes like coffee. You will not find this in our beer. It took me a long time to find the perfect recipe for this demanding beer. It is indeed easier to make a dark beer than a light, but to find the right mixture of malt-types and fementation technique is quite difficult, as all flavours are very intense and the balance shows the art of the brewmaster.
   
   These three types of beer you can always expect in the same delicious flavours (which is again not easy in a small brewery, as we can not blend tanks like our big friends).
   
   
4. The fourth is our Seasonal beer. If you are a regular customer of ours you will understand the knowing smile that names like "Wheat-Dreams" "Orange-Roughy" "Holy Smoke" brings.

I try out new recipes, ideas and ingredients with these Seasonal Beers. We are certainly pushing the boundries with some of these beers, but fortunately our patrons understand the concept of seasonal beers and therefore always look forward, to a new creation making its way out of the tank and into the glass. The seasonal beers are my toys and my inspiration.

All of our beers are chemical free, and contain neither preservatives nor salts or any other artificial substances. All types of beers are aviable in Flagons of 2 L, or 745 ml and can be enjoyed at home or with friends.
